Scam after scam after scam

Salleh Said Keruak

Pakatan Rakyat is guaranteed of forming the new federal government on 16th September 2008 because 30 Barisan Nasional Members of Parliament are going to cross over on that day, announced Anwar Ibrahim. That did not happen and no explanation was offered as to why.

Pakatan Rakyat lost the 2013 general election because there were blackouts all over the country during the vote counting and Anwar launches the ‘Blackout 505’ road shows all over Malaysia.

Then Pakatan Rakyat files 60 election petitions and not a single election petition mentions blackouts or raises the issue of 40,000 Bangladeshi voters who are supposed to have helped Barisan Nasional win the general election.

Today, Nga Kor Ming, the Chairman of DAP Perak, announced that Mohammad Nizar Jamaluddin of PAS is still Pakatan Rakyat Perak’s Opposition Leader even though DAP and PAS have already officially cut ties and Pakatan Rakyat no longer exists.

The PKR President, Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, then announced that even though Pakatan Rakyat has been deemed to have been dissolved, the cooperation and working relationship between PAS, DAP and PKR will still continue. “Our relationship still continues. In fact, chief minister Lim Guan Eng has also said that it is business as usual,” Wan Azizah told reporters.

DAP has demanded that Selangor Menteri Besar Azmin Ali choose whether he wants DAP or he wants PAS as PKR’s partner in Selangor. With DAP, PKR would have only 28 seats in the Selangor State Assembly while, with PAS, PKR would still have just 28 seats in the Selangor State Assembly.

Whether Azmin chooses DAP or PAS, he will need to keep the government with traitors and crossovers from one of the two parties or he does a deal with Umno or Khalid Ibrahim. Meanwhile, Azmin is just smiling and is saying nothing and this morning he met HRH the Sultan of Selangor with no explanation as to what the meeting was about.

There is a limit to how much nonsense the rakyat can swallow and I think that limit had already been crossed when PKR launched the Kajang Move and they made that incredible announcement –- which is: the reason for the Kajang Move was not so that they can oust Khalid as MB but to prevent Pakatan Rakyat from falling in the event Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad manages to oust Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak.
